The Nitroset system is classified as non-toxic and non-hazardous by the US Department of Transportation allowing for standard shipping of the fasteners. Users of the Nitroset fastening system are not required to be licensed as they would to use an explosive based system. Additionally, Nitroset charges are brass-free eliminating the cost of policing and cleaning for brass on the jobsite.
